About the job Project Manager (Offshore EPC)
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
- 12 to 15 years experience in managing projects in the Oil & Gas industry with similar scope of services.
- GCC experience in the Oil & Gas sector.
- Must demonstrates substantial previous experience executing offshore EPC projects.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and PMP certification.
- Expertise in budget management, resource planning, and cost control for shutdowns.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6, SAP).
- Chartered Professional Engineer status or membership with a recognized engineering body (e.g., PMP, CEng, AACE).
- Familiarity with shutdown-specific tools for scheduling, procurement, and tracking.
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of shutdown projects while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Oversee resource management, ensuring adequate allocation of manpower, equipment, and materials.
- Develop, manage, and monitor project budgets, ensuring effective cost control and mitigating financial risks.
- Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of shutdown activities.
- Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement corrective actions.
- Enforce compliance with HSE policies and lead safety meetings.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.
- Maintain communication with clients, management, and stakeholders, providing regular progress updates.
- Ensure adherence to quality assurance processes and vendor management.
- Prepare regular reports and maintain project documentation.
