About the job Contracts Manager
- Bachelor's Degree in related field. Post-Graduate Qualification in Related Field
- Must have minimum of 15 years of solid work experience in Contracts Management andAdministration / Management Level / Oil & Gas Industry.
- CPCM - Certified Professional Contract Manager / CCM - Contract & Commercial
- Management with strong Contracts Management and Administration experience with company setting in EPIC (Engineering, Procurement, Installation and Commissioning),
- Sales - Oil & Gas, Shutdown and Manpower Supply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide contracts support to Management Team in the preparation and / or review of contracts / subcontracts / supplier agreements. General contract management &administration duties, including the handling of major change orders, claims and negotiations of EPC, oil & gas and other projects.
- Support management team in handling major change orders, claims and negotiations of EPC, oil & gas and general projects.
- Manage the contractual daily requirements and reporting of claim and variation progress.
- Support development of multiple cost and / or schedule driven contracting scenarios and procurement routes.
- Promote inter-departmental communications and encourages teamwork.
- Establishes clear communication with the clients where necessary.
- Coordinate with clients to ensure that terms of the contract are fulfilled in compliance with the contract terms and regulations.
- Negotiate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers the terms & conditions of any new agreements to be put in place.
- Ability to prepare and edit contracts between clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Handle breach of contracts in a timely manner.
- Assess contract agreements to identify and recommend amendments of existing contracts.
- Review, respond and negotiate claims and change order requests received from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Support project teams in the preparation of general correspondence.
