Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Plan and implement marketing strategies to achieve long-term organizational goals by focusing on business development tactics by way of any suitable opportunity is identified within M.E or International.
- Actively market company's diversified fleet, visit clients regularly and build long term relationships
- Responsible for estimation of bid costs, review and timely submission of Pre-Qualifications, Spot & term bids in consultation with Commercial Manager / Senior Commercial Manager.
- Review, update and finalize status of Spot and Term Bids status sheet.
- Coordinate with Commercial team in the GCC and develop rehire and cross hire business opportunities in Qatar, Middle East Region: Identify and source suitable vessels within the region, Southeast Asia, Indian Subcontinent, Carryout pre-fixture evaluations of chartered-in vessels, manage operational and contractual aspects of chartered in vessels during the post fixture phase.
- Work closely with Diving to develop proposals for marketing of Diving Vessels, ROVs, Diving spread and outsource specialist subsea capabilities as and when required to offer a one stop solution to clients in the Subsea market in consultation with Commercial Manager
- Develop and finalize specs sheets of vessels in a new format in consultation with Marine Operations, Fleet & Technical and Commercial Manager / Senior Commercial Manager
- Responsible for expediting realization of payments from Clients in the region
- Provide market intelligence and analysis for developing business cases for investment in newer assets, expansion in new geographies
- Attending conferences / trade shows as approved by Corporate and provide regular updates on market intelligence.
- Coordinate with other commercial staff on market and commercial activities as necessary.
- Compliance to all company Health & Safety, Security, Environment and Quality policies, Manuals, Procedures, Laws, Regulations and Standards
- Comply and cooperate with company Health & Safety, Security, Environment and Quality consultations, training and initiatives
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Follow specified systems, processes and procedures, implemented in the workplace, to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and other requirements/standards
- Work safely at all times, protecting the health and safety of everyone in the workplace
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or relevant qualification in Marketing or Chartering or Marine Engineering
4+ years of experience in an offshore chartering / oil and Gas sector in similar role
Language Skills:
Business fluent English; Arabic Essential
