Backend Developer – Python/FastAPI - Perm

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop secure and scalable backend applications using Python and FastAPI.
• Build and maintain REST APIs, database components, and system integrations.
• Convert approved business requirements into reliable system functions.
• Integrate the Core System with internal applications and external service providers.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, performance optimization, and defect resolution.
• Apply authentication, authorization, validation, logging, and audit-trail requirements.
• Support data migration, user acceptance testing, deployment, and production issues.
• Prepare and maintain technical and API documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Practical experience in Python, FastAPI, REST APIs, and relational databases.
• Knowledge of SQL, Git, API security, automated testing, and containerization.
• Understanding of system integrations and financial transaction processing is preferred.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
