Job Title: EV Warranty & Claims Specialist

Job Summary : We are seeking a detail-oriented EV Warranty & Claims Specialist to manage warranty administration, claims processing, and manufacturer reimbursements for electric vehicles. The role will ensure accurate claim submission, compliance with OEM warranty policies, and timely resolution of warranty-related issues while supporting service and customer satisfaction objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, validate, and process EV warranty claims in accordance with OEM policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and submit warranty documentation, repair records, diagnostic reports, and supporting evidence.
  • Coordinate with service advisors, technicians, parts departments, and manufacturers to ensure claim accuracy.
  • Monitor warranty claim status, approvals, rejections, and reimbursements.
  • Investigate rejected claims and implement corrective actions to improve claim acceptance rates.
  • Maintain warranty records and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
  • Analyze warranty trends and identify recurring vehicle, battery, or component issues.
  • Provide guidance and training to workshop teams on warranty processes and documentation standards.
  • Support customer inquiries related to warranty coverage and claim status.
  • Generate periodic warranty performance and recovery reports.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Automotive Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in automotive warranty administration, claims management, or aftersales operations.
  • Experience with EV brands, particularly Tesla and Chinese EV manufacturers, is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of automotive warranty policies, repair procedures, and service operations.
  • Proficiency in dealer management systems (DMS), warranty portals, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • OEM warranty administration certification.
  • Experience in EV aftersales or technical support environments.
  • Knowledge of EV battery, charging, and high-voltage system components.
