Application Developer

OVERVIEW OF THE JOB

The Application Developer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining software applications that support the business operations of the client. The Application Developer collaborates closely with business team to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions that enhance operational performance and customer experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, develop, and implement new applications or enhance existing ones in alignment with business needs.

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best software engineering practices.

Collaborate with business units to gather and analyze user requirements and translate them into functional specifications.

Perform system integration, testing, and quality assurance prior to production release.

Maintain and support existing applications, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.

Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.

Work with the IT Operations and Security teams to ensure compliance with IT governance and cybersecurity standards.

Prepare technical documentation, user manuals, and change control records.

Contribute to automation, digital transformation, and system improvement initiatives.
