About the job Recruitment Specialist (Qatari National)
Manage the recruitment process and team to ensure that the manpower requirements are met at the agreed time and with no loss of business effectiveness and that operations are not impacted by any lack of qualified manpower. Actively promote and support the company's Qatarization strategy.
Strategic:
- Execute the functional strategy in line with the departmental strategy to ensure the achievement of departmental objectives in due course, cost, and quality.
- Assist in the development of the department's annual business plan, KPIs and budget.
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and operational standards for the function in line with the departmental policies and procedures.
Operational:
- Develop a cost-effective recruitment plan based on the approved manpower plan.
- Coordinate with departments that need staff to identify recruitment needs and timings in-line with the manpower plan.
- Manage the update of job openings on the website and all other appropriate locations.
- Negotiate and sign contracts with recruiting agencies.
- Perform communication and follow-up with recruiting agencies (if needed) for specific positions
- Schedule/attend recruitment events to source candidates.
- Perform screening of CVs and shortlisting of candidates making recommendations to hiring managers.
- Conduct interviews with candidates as per the requirements of the hiring managers.
- coordinate with departments to review shortlisted candidates and agree on interviews
- Negotiate and follow up with candidates, and answer queries about package and other related job offer information.
- Oversee all direct reports to ensure they achieve their objectives and deliver an agreed level of service to customers
- Record and archive all documentation related to the recruitment process.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 8 years in a similar position of which at least 2 years must be in a middle management role
- bachelor Degree in HR/Business Administration and professional recruitment/selection qualification is preferred.
- In-house recruitment experience rather than agency
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
- strong conflict resolution/management and communication skills
- Excellent knowledge of local employment laws and regulations
