Job Overview:

Responsible for accurate processing of all customer transactions, delivering professional and friendly service, and maintaining a well-organized work environment in a fast-paced, high-volume retail setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using cash registers, point of sale (POS) systems, and other technology.
  • Handle cash, credit/debit card, and other forms of payment in compliance with company policies.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure accurate daily balancing of cash tills and safe handling of cash at all times.
  • Issue receipts, refunds, or exchanges as per company policies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales targets and ensure smooth store operations.
  • Follow all security and safety procedures for handling cash and merchandise.
  • Adhere to company policies, code of conduct, and appearance standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous cashier or retail experience preferred, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills in English (knowledge of Arabic is an advantage).
  • Customer-focused attitude with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Reliable, honest, and able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Valid resident permit in Qatar, transferable or family sponsorship

Employment Terms:

  • Duration: 6 months, with possibility of renewal based on performance and business requirements.
  • Working Hours: Shift-based (including weekends and public holidays as per roster).
