YOUR NEW POSITION
As a Civil Engineer, you will play a crucial role on civil engineering projects. You will have involvement in the design, assessment, planning, and execution of a wide range of projects, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality results. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on clients and communities while working with a dynamic team of professionals.
Typical Projects
- Stormwater Management Plans (SMPs)/calculations
- Drainage, pits and pipes
- Commercial car parks, ramps and access
- Site grading, Bulk earthworks
Key Accountabilities:
Ensure professional, concise and consistent quality civil design documentation.
Competence with project scope, time and cost requirements to meet objectives.
Ability to work on multiple projects of varying size and complexity.
Complete assigned tasks on time, with accuracy and to agreed specifications.
Ensure that work meets quality system and client requirements, as well as complying
with Australian standards, codes, compliance, government and industry regulation.
Recommend solutions to design issues and methodology that will improve efficiencies
and output. Mentor where required other members of the Team.
Keep all key internal and external stakeholders informed of progress in relation to
schedule and budget.
Take an important role in projects whilst managing a high standard of document control.
Liaise with relevant regulatory authorities/stakeholders to understand all expectations
for approval of the civil design to ensure continuity of the project.
Provide technical assistance and troubleshoot any relevant construction/engineering
issues which may arise.
ARE YOU A FIT?
Specialized Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant engineering discipline.
- High level of expertise and hands-on experience in Senior Civil Design Engineer across
a range of various projects. - Experience using structural analysis and design software such as Civil 3D, DRAINS, MUSIC
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
