We are currently looking a Food Service Supervisor on behalf of our client, to oversee and coordinate food service operations, ensuring high-quality service and adherence to standards in their establishment. If you have strong leadership and hospitality skills, we'd like to introduce you to this supervisory role.

Requirements:

  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Work site environment:

  • Noisy

Work setting:

  • Restaurant

Tasks:

  • Establish methods to meet work schedules
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
  • Estimate and order ingredients and supplies
  • Ensure food service and quality control
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
  • Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres
  • Supervise and check assembly of trays
  • Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
  • Establish work schedules

Supervision:

  • 3-4 people
  • Food service counter attendants and food preparers
