Requirements-

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Tasks-

  • Assist in food preparation and cooking under the direction of the chef.
  • Ensure food is cooked and served according to standardized recipes and portion sizes.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.
  • Handle and store food ingredients in accordance with food safety standards.
  • Assist in inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies.
  • Prepare and plate dishes, ensuring presentation meets established standards.
  • Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, stoves, and fryers proficiently.
  • Support the First Cook or Chef in overseeing kitchen operations.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to expedite orders during peak hours.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper handling of knives and kitchen equipment.
