Role & Responsibilities

The Quality Control Manager will ensure compliance with Quality Management system and Quality standards as per Contract agreement ER, Vol 3, Appendix 11, Clause 14, during the execution of track work, power, signaling, and telecom installations in CP 205 project. The role involves the following responsibilities.

  1. On and off-site inspection - Conduct regular site inspections and site visits to ensure compliance with Quality Management System and ensure site inspection procedure as per ITP and checklist.
  2. Monitoring and reporting on testing - Submission of all materials testing reports and monitoring test procedure at subcontractor and contractor end.
  3. Act as the Design Engineers representative on-site for which he shall: a) Administer and report on change requests through his control register.(copies of the change request form should be forwarded to the Engineer when it is raised and when the response is available for information). b) Administer Non-Conformances through his control register. (copies of the change request form should be forwarded to the Engineer when it is raised and when the response is available for information).
  4. Review all Quality documentation; Quality Plan, Method Statements, Works Procedures, Inspection and Test Plans, Quality Objectives Assessment Documents, etc. (all such documents shall be forwarded to the Engineer for his review)
  5. Report internally and to the Engineer on Inspection and Testing of site and materials.
  6. Responsible for the implementation of the quality management system of the Works complying with the Design and Specifications.
  7. Coordinate with QA Manager for preparation and reviewing of Quality Objectives Assessment Documents.
  8. Responsible the final signatories of the Inspection and Test Sheets Records and he signs off the Change and Non-Conformance Reports. QC Manager shall be a co-signatory with the
  9. Engineer to sign off the Works in preparation for the issuance of the Taking-Over Certificate by the Engineer.
  10. Responsible to on time develop specific Method statement, ITP and checklist format with close coordination with project team personnel as per planned activity.
  11. Ensure to produce and submission of RFI closing document as per activities and ITP.
  12. Responsible to Conducting quality audit at site and project office as per audit schedule.
  13. Coordinate with Engineer for testing of materials at QA/QC Lab internal and External.
  14. Conduct regular quality training at site level and project team level.
  15. Responsible to maintain all quality control registers and coordinate with Engineer for timely approval.
  16. Organizing quality meeting with Engineer and project team personnel.
  17. Responsible to ensure Quality control of concrete at site.

  • Desired Profile 10 years experiences in maintaining Quality control at site
  • Certificate Experience/Service certificate of previous work experience
