The company is a global tractor and farm equipment brands manufacturer. Growing existing markets and scouting for new market opportunities requires unique skills. The candidates will be part of a core team whose brief is to profitably grow The Companys business in ASEAN.
The company will have dealer model and full product portfolio in Thailand to compete effectively with incumbent OEMs. Ideal candidate to have prior market and functional experience in Thailand (with Thai and English-speaking capability) and Farm equipment or related industry experience.
Job Position: Wholesale & Retail Financing Manager ASEAN
Office Location: Bangkok, Thailand
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage the engagement and activities involving the 3rd party retail financing partner in Thailand.
- Managing loss sharing arrangement, interest rate subvention with the financier
- Responsible for maintaining healthy portfolio with the financer.
- Create brand value of company farm equipment with the financer.
- Dealer staff training and participation in streamlining financing process.
2. Develop and implement the wholesale finance/ credit term policy for channel partners in Thailand.
- Develop the credit policy & payment terms which balances between risk and growth.
- Manage dealer under writing, operations incl. repossession of equipment as applicable.
- Manage dealer collections process as applicable.
3. Develop policy and implement the Dealer reserve concept with Channel partners as applicable.
Candidate profile:
- Thai national
- Must have basic knowledge of international business (culture, preferences) to adapt and blend with overseas stakeholders. Knowledge of international finance, export-import is a must.
- Knowledge of both English/Thai speaking/reading/writing ability is a must have requirement.
- Must have strong analytical skills
- Should have a strong Emotional Quotient (EQ) - culturally agnostic, open minded, good listening and negotiating skills, collaborative and able to produce results with diverse teams
- Educational qualification: Commercial graduate + MBA Finance / International Business (Preferable)
- Experience: Around 8 to 10 years experience in International Finance, Channel Finance, Retail Finance, Business Development (International experience preferred). Farm equipment/ Automotive/Financing industry experience (required)
