We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Superintendent to join our client. As the Mechanical Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing all mechanical aspects of their operations, ensuring that their equipment and machinery are running efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough drawing studies and prepare accurate BOQ (Bill of Quantities) based on the drawings.
- Possess a strong understanding of structural materials and their applications.
- In-depth knowledge of equipment used in Crusher, BLC, Conveyor for stacking, and ability to troubleshoot and perform maintenance on these equipment.
- Familiarity with maintenance procedures for Crusher, Conveyor, DG, and other related equipment.
- Proficient in Conveyor belt specifications, Metal Detector, Magnetic Separator, Reclaim Feeder, Telescopic Chute, and Belt Scaler.
- Oversee and manage a team of mechanical technicians and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure optimal performance of equipment.
- Monitor inventory and order necessary parts and equipment for repairs and maintenance.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential issues and address them in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the mining or construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Proven leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when necessary.
- Fluent in English and local language.
- Must be willing to relocate as needed.
