Senior Security Engineer

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, and a strong understanding of security best practices. This role is crucial for identifying and mitigating security risks within our systems, applications, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Penetration Testing: Conduct thorough penetration tests on various systems, networks, and applications to identify security vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies.
• Vulnerability Assessments: Perform regular vulnerability assessments using automated tools and manual techniques to ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
• Security Audits: Assist in the planning and execution of security audits, ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
• Threat Modeling: Develop and maintain threat models for critical applications and systems to proactively identify potential security risks.
• Incident Response: Collaborate with the incident response team to investigate security incidents and provide expert analysis of findings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 3- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on penetration testing and vulnerability management.
• Knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, OWASP, ISO 27001) and regulatory requirements (e.g., PCI-DSS, HIPAA).
• Proficiency in penetration testing tools 
• Experience with network and application security assessments, threat modeling, and risk management.
