The client is a FinTech startup focusing on microlending, built within the last decade and currently houses >4000 employees across Indonesia.
About The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that align with the company's objectives, with a focus on financial performance, risk management, and market positioning. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader, possess exceptional analytical skills, and have a track record of creating and executing successful corporate finance strategies.
Responsibilities
- Developing and executing the company's strategic plan to achieve financial objectives and growth targets
- Conducting research and analysis on market trends, competitor activities, and opportunities to create value
- Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including financial partners, investors, and regulatory bodies
- Managing the financial planning and analysis process, including forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Identifying and executing strategic initiatives to optimize the company's capital structure, financing, and M&A opportunities
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations in financial management and investments
- Driving innovation in business processes, tools, and systems to increase efficiency, accuracy, and cost savings
The Successful Candidate
- At least 10 years of experience in a corporate finance and strategy role within a financial services or related industry
- MBA or advanced degree in finance, economics, accounting, or related field
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful financial strategies that drove business growth and profitability
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Demonstrated leadership skills and experience managing teams, with the ability to inspire and influence others
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements and reporting standards in the financial services industry.
