Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive HSE policies in compliance with legal and corporate guidelines.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify hazards and implement preventative strategies.
• Organize safety training programs to ensure employee awareness and compliance with HSE legislation.
• Monitor policy compliance, conduct site inspections, and prepare detailed reports on findings.
• Lead emergency response initiatives and investigate incidents to determine causes and prevention measures.
• Advise on key safety areas, including fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, occupational diseases, and waste management.
• Stay updated on HSE laws and regulations impacting the organization.
• Collaborate with internal leadership and external regulatory bodies to maintain compliance.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure workplace safety standards.
• Maintain and update incident reports, audits, and inspection records.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Environmental Science, Safety Management, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) are highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations within the chemical manufacturing industry.
• Proven HSE experience in a relevant industry.
• Proficiency in HSE management software and tools.
• Ability to develop and implement HSE policies effectively.
• Strong crisis management and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills to raise awareness and ensure compliance.
• Team-oriented mindset with a motivation to foster a strong safety culture.
