About the job Branch Manager
We are representing an Integrated Liner & Logistics Group who's currently looking for Branch Manager to be placed in Belawan Medan.
Responsibilities:
- Branch Operations:
- Oversee daily branch activities, including shipping schedules, cargo handling, and logistics operations.
- Ensure smooth coordination of export requirements for Nvocc and liner services.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and develop a team, setting clear objectives and monitoring performance.
- Foster a high-performing environment to generate and manage cargo for 800 TEUs on vessels.
- Business Development:
- Build and maintain a strong customer base to meet export targets.
- Identify new business opportunities to increase revenue and market share.
- Customer Management:
- Maintain excellent relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Address and resolve customer concerns promptly and effectively.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Liaise effectively with overseas offices and principals to align on operations and objectives.
- Ensure timely updates and reports to stakeholders.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Adhere to industry regulations and company policies to maintain safe and efficient operations.
Requirements:
- Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in shipping lines or freight forwarding.
- Proven ability to manage and grow business in the logistics and shipping industry.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team development capabilities.
- Established customer base in Nvocc and liner exports.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with global offices and principals.
- Fluency in English is a must and Chinese/Mandarin/Hokkien speaking skills are preffered.
- Education:
- Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
