About our client

Our client is a B2B (business-to-business) e-commerce platform, connecting suppliers and buyers in the industrial sector.

About the role:

In-depth understanding of Modern Trade and General Trade structures, including their respective distribution chains and market dynamics.

Experience in managing product categories in distributors, especially in FMCG, retail, or consumer products industries.

Strong negotiation skills to secure profitable deals with distributors and customers in both Modern Trade and General Trade.

Able to manage multiple distributor accounts simultaneously, including monitoring sales performance, distribution targets, and marketing strategy effectiveness.

Able to build and maintain long-term relationships with Modern Trade and General Trade distributors.

Excellent communication skills to coordinate with distributors, retailers, and internal teams, including marketing and sales teams.

Able to conduct business presentations to distributor partners to propose new promotional programs or marketing strategies.

Result-oriented and able to achieve or exceed predetermined sales targets, both in Modern Trade and General Trade channels.

Able to manage marketing activities such as in-store promotions, trade marketing, and stock management at outlets.

Understand the distribution regulations and procedures applicable in the Modern Trade and General Trade markets, including government regulations related to the distribution of consumer goods.

Understanding of the distribution and logistics systems that affect product availability in Modern Trade and General Trade outlets.

Ability to manage sales and marketing budgets related to distribution in Modern Trade and General Trade channels.

Experience in managing a sales team or working with a distributor team in implementing sales and marketing strategies.

Able to work collaboratively with various teams, including marketing, logistics, and distributor operations teams.

Qualifications:

Minimum Bachelor's degree in Management, Marketing, Business, or related field
3-5 years of experience as a Key Account Manager, Sales Manager, or similar position, with a focus on Modern Trade (MT) and General Trade (GT).
Experience working with distributors, supermarkets, hypermarkets, and General Trade channels (traditional stores, wholesalers, or minimarkets).
