Position: Senior Manager of Retail Finance

Overview:

As the Senior Manager of Retail Finance, you will play a crucial role in driving the financial success of our client's retail operations. You will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company's retail division, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the financial health and profitability of the retail business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's retail business objectives
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting process for the retail division, ensuring accuracy and alignment with overall company goals
• Conduct financial analysis to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for cost-saving opportunities
• Monitor and report on the financial performance of the retail division, providing insights and recommendations to senior management
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop pricing strategies, promotions, and other initiatives to drive sales and profitability
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including retail operations, merchandising, and marketing teams
• Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional growth and development

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA preferred
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in the retail industry
• Strong understanding of retail finance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Proven track record of driving financial results and improving profitability
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and build relationships with cross-functional teams
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and develop a team
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial planning software
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is a plus
