About the job QC Section Head
This position is for a company that strong in oleochemical and soap industry.
Placement in Medan. Candidates domiciled in Medan / Sumatera Utara is a preferrable.
Job Desc:
- Responsible for implementation of quality in company.
- Ensure document and data as per quality assurance concept.
- Supervise and evaluate work procedures and standards related to operational activities.
- Control, implement, and supervise the examination of the process of implementing quality policies to support the achievement of predetermined quality standards.
- Control and supervise the raw material and finished goods quality in order to meet the standards set by the Company.
- Supervise and evaluate socialization programs related to work procedures, company policy standards.
- Responsible for internal/external audits and inspections and assist in corrective actions when necessary.
- Analyse and evaluate the findings of the audit reports to ensure the operations activities run in accordance with the given standards.
- Monitor industry and regulatory updates, trends, and news to keep the company informed.
- This position will report to the Plant Manager and GM.
Requirements:
- Education background in Diploma or Bachelor Degree (Chemistry-related major preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in oleochemical and soap industry
- Familiar with measurement tools and instruments.
- The detail-oriented, proactive, critical, analytical, and logical approach to problem-solving.
- Highly motivated, strong team player, with a good ability to multi-task and re-prioritize as necessary.
- Have good communication skills in English both oral and written.
- Strong written & verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex findings in a structured and clear manner.
- Computer literate (Ms. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Understanding ISO 9001, ISO 14001, SMK3, GMP, and Halal Assurance System HAS 23000
- From similar industry will be advantage
- Willing to be placed in KIM II Mabar Medan.
