We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled HR Department Head to join our client team, a coal mining concession and service in Bengkulu, Indonesia. As the HR Department Head, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources for the company, which employs approximately 300 individuals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement human resources policies, procedures, and programs that align with the company's goals and objectives
  • Ensure compliance with all labor laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
  • Oversee all recruitment and onboarding processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring of new employees
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to employees
  • Manage employee relations and handle any disciplinary actions or grievances
  • Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge
  • Oversee payroll and benefits administration, ensuring accuracy and timely processing
  • Maintain and update employee records and ensure confidentiality and security of all HR information
  • Collaborate with department heads and management to address any HR-related issues or concerns
  • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in human resources and make recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management on HR metrics and initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a human resources leadership role, in the mining industry
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations in Indonesia
  • Experience in managing employee relations and handling disciplinary actions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
  • Fluent in both English and Indonesian
