Job Summary:
Our client seeks a dynamic Country Head to spearhead its market entry and growth strategy in Malaysia. The role demands a strategic leader with a proven track record in the aesthetics industry, capable of driving substantial business expansion and establishing the aesthetic business as a leading brand in Malaysia.
Job Description:
- Spearhead the formulation and implementation of a strategic growth roadmap for Malaysia, in alignment with corporate objectives.
- Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to pinpoint opportunities and devise effective marketing strategies.
- Assume oversight of all facets of Malaysian operations, encompassing sales, marketing, customer service, and clinic management.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to gauge performance, identify areas for enhancement, and drive continuous improvement.
- Manage budgetary processes, ensuring optimal resource allocation and fostering a robust profit and loss (P&L) management approach.
- Cultivate and lead a high-performing team, nurturing a culture of positivity, accountability, and achievement.
- Recruit, train, and inspire personnel to meet individual and collective performance objectives.
- Lead negotiations with partners and vendors to secure favorable terms and agreements.
- Ensure strict adherence to Malaysian regulatory requirements and licensing obligations.
- Foster and sustain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders within the Malaysian aesthetics sector.
- Serve as the primary representative of our client in Malaysia, engaging with government entities, media outlets, and other influential stakeholders as necessary
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline (MBA preferred)
- Extensive 7-10 years of experience in a senior leadership capacity within the retail sector, with a preference for beauty, wellness, or healthcare industries
- Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling a brand in a new market environment
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving capabilities, adept at deriving actionable insights
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation proficiencies
- Demonstrated ability to inspire, lead, and cultivate team excellence.
- Strategic vision and decisive decision-making prowess.
- Proficient in financial management, including budget oversight and resource allocation.
- Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and English, enabling effective cross-cultural communication and stakeholder engagement
