HSSE Manager (Gresik)

We represent a leading regional waste oil manufacturer that utilizes advanced recycling technology to produce sustainable biofuels. We are currently on the lookout for an HSSE Manager to oversee and enhance the company's health, safety, security, and environmental practices at their plant in Gresik.

Requirements:

1. Degree in Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental or a related field.
2. At least 10 years of experience in HSSE roles, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial position.
3. Strong leadership and communication skills, with a proven track record in HSSE improvement initiatives.
4. In-depth knowledge of local legislative laws to ensure compliance.
5. Proficiency in HSSE data analytics and auditing for ISO standards (9001, 14001 & 45001).
6. Preferred to hold an AK3U certificate in OHS, Risk Assessment, Auditing & Inspection, and other relevant certifications.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee HSSE activities and functions.
2. Develop and implement company HSSE strategies and procedures to ensure compliance with the Corporate HSE requirements, and local laws, regulations, and guidelines.
3. Interact with regulatory agencies, lead pollution prevention efforts, and manage health & safety initiatives.
4. Manage the application and renewal processes for all HSSE licenses required for the company operations.
5. Provide technical advice and recommendations to Management based on HSSE government and industry standards.
6. Establish and maintain ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications.
7. Identify, evaluate, and anticipate hazardous safety conditions and environmental risks.
8. Develop complex hazard control designs, methods, procedures, and programs.
9. Implement, administer, and advise on hazard and risk control programs.
10. Develop and deliver HSSE training to promote awareness among employees, contractors, and the community.
11. Perform other HSSE-related tasks as directed by Management.
12. Be willing to travel to other plants/units within Southeast Asia.
