Senior Manager Legal Counsel - FMCG

We have been retained by our client from Global FMCG Company that has been successfully growing their business worldwide.

We would like to invite high skilled, dedicated, motivated and dynamic professionals to be a part of the company's team and fill in the following position as Senior Manager Legal Counsel.

Responsibilities:

• Reporting directly to the General Counsel for Corporate Affairs and Regulatory Affairs.
• Provides practical solutions that encompass both legal expertise and commercial acumen.

• Formulating and executing the organization's legal strategy in alignment with its overarching business objectives.
• Offering proactive legal guidance to the leadership team and cross-functional departments, addressing potential legal challenges.
• Mitigating commercial and industrial risks through strategic legal measures.
• Vigilantly monitoring and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards in the organization's operations.
• Establishing and implementing policies and procedures to proficiently manage legal and regulatory risks.
• Supervising the negotiation, drafting, review, and execution of various contracts, agreements, and legal documents. Ensuring that contractual terms are in sync with the organization's interests to minimize potential legal liabilities.
• Safeguarding the organization's intellectual property rights, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.
• Ensuring compliance with corporate governance requirements, which includes licenses and permits, reporting and submission obligations, asset documentation, and shareholder relations.
• Active participation in due diligence processes when necessary for strategic transactions

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Law from a prestigious university
• Prior experience in a legal firm is a valuable asset
• Minimum of 10 years of legal experience, with a focus on corporate and commercial law.
• Have minimum 3 years of experience in managing legal teams.
• In-depth knowledge of corporate and commercial law, regulatory compliance, litigations, and industry standards.
• Strong negotiation and contract drafting skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to offer proactive legal advice.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
