Company Overview:
We have been retained by a new investment company focused on manufacturing world-class toys of international standards and high quality. As they establish their factory in Ngawi, we are seeking a dedicated Injection Molding Department Manager. This role is crucial in overseeing the efficiency and effectiveness of injection molding operations. Your responsibilities will span equipment improvements, defect resolution, quality control, and process optimization.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for injection molding equipment improvement projects and machine efficiency enhancements.
- Manage equipment capacity improvement and optimization and follow up on the trial results of new molds.
- Analyze and resolve common injection molding defects related to materials and product structures.
- Assist in supplier quality control, statistics on defect rates, and handling of sudden quality and progress issues.
- Communicate and coordinate with related departments to ensure accurate and error-free goods movement and data statistics.
- Train and manage front-line personnel to enhance their skills and loyalty.
- Participate in the introduction of new products, guide and supervise the production department to meet established standards and processes.
- Monitor trial molding, including setting and evaluating molding process conditions, assessing mold conditions, conducting comprehensive evaluations and acceptances of mold processes, promptly resolving production issues, and timely monitoring of quality deviations.
- Prepare relevant process documents, and monitor production efficiency, defect rates, and machine utilization.
Requirements:
- Possess extensive experience in injection mold debugging and management, with more than 3 years of experience as an injection molding department manager.
- Proactive, diligent, and highly responsible with a strong drive.
- Have a proactive spirit for lean improvement.
- This position needs to be in place in the first 6 months before the factory is completed, responsible for training and managing Indonesian workers.
