Production Superintendent, Oleochemical Industry (Medan, Indonesia)

Job Description:

• To be responsible for daily supervision of the section.
• To implement daily production plan.
• To issue adequate material from branch store to run daily production.
• To coordinate with maintenance engineer regarding the breakdown maintenance, and the implementation of preventive maintenance, logistic and QC dept.
• To check & analyze detailed shift report which is prepared by Machine Operator.
• To ensure product identification as per documented quality inspection procedures.
• To coordinate with logistic and QC Department in case of change in daily plans.
• To coordinate with HR in defining the number of workers needed in case of non-routine job
• needed.
• To be responsible for evaluating the performance of the individual personnel under by him.
• To be responsible for housekeeping of the section.
• To comply with industrial safety regulations.
• To perform any other duties to him by production manager and/or superiors.
• To participate in maintaining the ISO 9001 & ISO 14001, SMK 3 implementation.

Requirements:

• Education background in Bachelor Degree Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related major preferred.
• Minimum 3 years experience in soap and glycerin manufacture.
• The detail-oriented, proactive, critical, analytical, and logical approach to problem-solving.
• Highly motivated, strong team player, with a good ability to multi-task and re-prioritize as necessary.
• Have good communication skills in English both oral and written.
• Strong written & verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex findings in a structured and clear manner.
• Physically and mentally health.
• Computer literate (Ms. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Understanding ISO 9001, ISO 14001, SMK3, GMP, and Halal Assurance System HAS 23000
• Willing to be placed in Medan KIM 2
