Responsibilities

Competence in a broad range of corporate and business laws and experience in undertaking and executing complex commercial transactions

Extensive experience in drafting, reviewing, redlining, analyzing and summarizing legal documentation in the financial services business such as financing and collaboration agreements with banks and financial institutions, lending agreements, outsourcing agreements, corporate commercial partnership agreements, channel partner agreements, non-disclosure agreements, memorandum of understanding, and software license agreement

Ability to analyze and assess business processes, identify issues and propose pragmatic solutions while possessing a strong legal and business judgement

Possessing an exceptional legal aptitude and acumen in analyzing statutes, regulations and documents while possessing a commercial outlook

A consensus builder with great people skills who can effectively and efficiently collaborate and build relationships with attorneys and business clients at all levels throughout the organization

Superior time management skills, proven ability to adhere to timelines for deliverables and pays great attention to details

Independently drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts for various business lines including technology, SAAS, procurement and other day-to-day business contracts

Advise the business teams on laws applicable and legal risks related to new lines of business and assist the business teams in structuring the new lines of business.

Responsible to review, drafting, negotiating legal contracts, transaction documents and other legal documents related to daily company business activities

Updating the regulations from Government & Regulator and giving advice to Boards and committee for legal and compliance issue.

Qualification & Skills:

Should be a law graduate with 4-7 years of relevant experience

Candidates having both prior in-house, preferably in the financial services sector company (e.g. multi finance company) and tier 1 law firm experience will be preferred.

Candidates must have the ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and to re-prioritize quickly to address shifting business needs.

Had the exposure of having undertaken legal due diligence review of start-ups generally and fin-tech companies, in particular, is an add on
