Job Title: Cutting Superintendent

Location: Ungaran, Jawa Tengah

Our client is a leading manufacturer of high-quality women's footwear, dedicated to delivering stylish, comfortable, and durable products based in Jawa Tengah.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan and implement cutting and tailoring activities specifically for footwear.
  • Oversee the manufacturing, modification, and selection of cutting processes and procedures based on requested articles and quality standards.
  • Fully understand cutting requirements, including stamping and tailoring techniques specific to women's footwear.
  • Achieve daily production targets in collaboration with management, ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Calculate and establish operational times for cutting processes using various methods and techniques, monitoring production timings against estimates.
  • Develop cutting plans that align with shipment schedules and time constraints.
  • Address any material faults found during the process, identifying and resolving root causes effectively.
  • Organize and monitor logistics and supply chain activities to meet the company's objectives regarding quality, cost, and delivery timelines.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors / Diploma in Leather Technology or related field.
  • Mature personality with strong communication skills, capable of engaging with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to translate goals into actionable plans with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cutting production within the footwear industry, particularly footwear.
  • Familiarity with the SATRA leather grading system is a plus.
  • Knowledge of leather cutting and grading methodologies, including calculations and variances in leather properties, surface, elongation, and cutting directions.
  • Understanding of processes, technology, and machinery involved in women's footwear manufacturing.
  • Experience with various procedures and methods in leather material processing and manufacturability.
