Head of Data Strategy & Analytics

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Data Strategy and Analytics to lead our client's data initiatives and drive data-driven decision-making across the organization. In this role, you will develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with client's business goals, oversee the design and maintenance of data infrastructure, and lead a talented team of data professionals. Your expertise will be crucial in leveraging data to solve key business challenges and ensure our data practices comply with all relevant regulations

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a robust data strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives and drives growth.
• Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of data infrastructure, including data pipelines, storage solutions, and overall architecture.
• Lead and mentor a team of data analysts and data engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities and provide data-driven solutions for key business challenges and opportunities.
• Champion a culture of data-driven decision-making throughout the organization, promoting the use of data in strategic and operational decisions.
• Ensure data security and compliance with all relevant regulations and standards to protect sensitive information.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree (master's or PhD) in Data Science, Statistics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 5 years in a data leadership role, with a proven track record in managing data strategies and teams.
• Experience working in a fast-paced retail environment is highly desirable.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages, such as SQL, Python, and R. For data engineering responsibilities, familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
