Position :  Customs Officer Senior Manager (Garment Industry)

Job Location:  Jakarta

Our Client is a leading garment manufacturing company seeking an experienced Customs Officer Senior Manager to oversee their import-export and customs operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with all customs regulations and policies for import and export activities.
• Oversee and manage customs clearance processes, including documentation, tariffs, and duties.
• Monitor and evaluate changes in customs regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize customs operations and reduce costs.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and government authorities.
• Resolve disputes or issues related to customs and trade compliance.
• Maintain accurate records and reports for audits and regulatory inspections.
• Train and manage a team to handle customs-related tasks effectively.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting , Tax, Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in customs management, preferably in the garment industry.
• Strong knowledge of customs laws, tariffs, and trade compliance in Indonesia.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and customs management software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluent in English, both oral and written.
