Job Title: Assistant Manager Accounting & Taxation
Location: Jakarta Selatan, Indonesia
Reports To: Finance Accountant Head
Job Summary:
Experience in handling Accounts, Indonesian Taxation consists of Wht, VAT. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the companys financial accounts, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations. Experience in EPC industry will be an added advantage. The role requires a deep understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial risk management, particularly in the context of foreign exchange exposure.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounting Management:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Weekly bank reconciliation
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with local accounting standards and corporate policies.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits and ensure the timely completion of audit reports.
2. Taxation:
- Ensure compliance with all local tax laws and regulations, including corporate income tax, VAT, and withholding taxes.
- Prepare and file accurate tax returns and other statutory financial reports.
- Liaise with tax authorities and manage tax audits.
- Keep up to date with changes in tax legislation and advise management on potential impacts.
3. Compliance and Regulatory:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Maintain and update financial policies and procedures as needed.
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data and reporting systems.
4. Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Provide training and development opportunities to enhance the teams skills and knowledge.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field;
- Minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in accounting, taxation, and financial risk management, preferably in a multinational company. Having EPC experience will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in Excel, word and PowerPoint
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
