Job Description: Branch Manager Paint Industry
Position Title: Branch Manager for East Java and East Indonesia
Reports To: General Manager
Location: Surabaya, East Java
Employment Type: Full-Time
Position Overview:
The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the branch, ensuring the efficient and profitable performance of the paint business within their location. This role requires strong leadership, operational management, customer service expertise, and a deep understanding of the paint industry. The Branch Manager will manage staff, monitor sales performance, and ensure the quality and availability of products while meeting the needs of customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and supervise branch employees to maintain high performance and morale.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and training to foster professional growth.
- Ensure a positive, productive, and customer-focused work environment.
- Sales & Business Development:
- Drive sales growth by developing strategies to expand the customer base and increase branch revenue.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, contractors, and distributors.
- Promote products and services, ensuring alignment with the companys business objectives.
- Ensure high standards of customer service and satisfaction.
- Operations Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day branch operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with company standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and order new stock, ensuring product availability and minimizing wastage.
- Coordinate logistics for deliveries and stock management.
- Handle branch financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Quality Control & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the branch.
- Ensure product quality by working closely with suppliers and manufacturers to resolve any product issues.
- Oversee proper handling and storage of paint products according to safety standards.
- Reporting & Administration:
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, operational metrics, and customer feedback.
- Analyze financial reports to assess branch performance and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Manage documentation, including sales orders, inventory records, and other required administrative duties.
- Marketing & Promotions:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement promotional strategies and campaigns to boost branch visibility and product demand.
- Organize product demonstrations, events, and other marketing activities to engage customers and grow the business.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience: At least 10 - 15 years of experience in sales, management, or a related field, preferably within the paint or building materials industry.
- Leadership: Proven experience in team leadership, staff management, and performance development.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of paint products, trends, and industry standards.
- Sales Skills: Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth and build relationships with clients.
- Operational Expertise: Strong knowledge of inventory control, financial management, and branch operations.
- Customer Service: Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients and internal teams effectively.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to handle challenges and implement solutions efficiently.
- Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with inventory management software, Microsoft Office Suite, and CRM tools.
