Project Manager (Civil Works), ICT Infrastructure (Thailand)

Responsibilities:

1. Manages the entire cycle of civil works of data center projects, including planning, design, construction and acceptance.
2. Ensures that the projects are completed on time with high quality, and in compliance with Thailand regulations, process and standard, and meets the requirements for high reliability and security of data centers
3. Project planning and design management

• Participate in the pre-project site selection and feasibility study, and evaluate the impact of geology and climate on civil works.
• Coordinate the design institute to complete the civil engineering solution. (e.g. building structure, load-bearing,
• Anti-seismic, waterproof, fire fighting, etc.) . Ensure that data center standards are complied with.
• Review construction drawings, optimize civil engineering costs and construction period, and avoid design risks.

4. Management of the whole construction process

• Make civil work delivery plan and supervise construction progress, quality and safety to ensure compliance with specifications (such as concrete strength, floor load-bearing capacity, and antistatic floor installation).
• Manage the change process and handle technical issues on site (e.g. pipeline conflicts, structural reinforcement).

5. Cost and Contract Control

•  Prepare budget for civil works, track actual costs and avoid overspending. 
•  Review project scope and progress payment to prevent contract disputes. 

6. Compliance and Acceptance

• Ensure that the construction complies with local regulations (e.g. fire acceptance, environmental protection requirements) and industry standards.
• Organize acceptance of sub-items (such as foundation, main structure, and waterproofing works) and cooperate with the final delivery.

7. Cross-departmental collaboration

• Collaborate with electromechanical, HVAC and electrical teams to ensure seamless connection between civil and electromechanical installation (e.g. reserved casing, load matching).
• Connect with the owner, supervisor, and government departments to maintain the relationship between key stakeholders.

Candidate Requirements

• Hold PMP/First Class Construction Engineer (Construction/Municipal) Certificate.
• Familiarity with international data center standards (e.g. uptime, tier certification).
• 5+ years experience in civil engineering project management, and at least 2 complete data center project experience.
