Draftsman - Civil Substation

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman specializing in Civil Substations. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and modifying detailed technical drawings and plans for substation projects. This role requires a strong understanding of civil engineering principles, proficiency in CAD software, and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and other team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Drawings: Create, modify, and update detailed civil engineering drawings for substation projects, including site plans, foundation layouts, structural details, and other related documents.
• CAD Proficiency: Utilize CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) to produce accurate and high-quality technical drawings.
• Collaboration: Work closely with civil engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs meet project specifications and requirements.
• Quality Control: Review and verify the accuracy of drawings and ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Documentation: Maintain organized records of all drawings and revisions, ensuring that all documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible.
• Field Visits: Conduct site visits as needed to gather data, verify field conditions, and ensure that designs are accurately implemented.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support to the engineering team during the construction phase, addressing any design-related queries or issues.

Qualifications:

• Education: Degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in drafting for civil substation projects or similar infrastructure.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant CAD software.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and substation design.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to civil substation projects.
• Fluent in English
