Job Summary:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, creative, results-driven, and professional Sales Manager that will manage and responsible for whole sales process and channels (bakery, foodservices, GT/MT, distributors) to join the company. This great opportunity is best suited for an energetic and aspiring person who wants to be part of a global organization.
Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, you will be accountable for overall management of major accounts distributor performance, sales channel enhancement, sales & tech team performance and development in order to achieve volume and profit target enabling sustainable & profitable growth.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent plus 8+ years sales/marketing experience in related industry
- Min. 8 years of experience in the sales field
- Min. 3 years of experience in the same position
- Wide and Local business experience and regional exposure in key markets or developing markets
- Proven records in distributor/Key Account management
- Extensive experience in leading major negotiations
- Proven ability to develop and accomplish sales and budget forecasts
- Fluent in English (speaking, writing, listening)
- Having background experience from similar industry (food manufacturing/FMCG company) is highly preferred
Responsibilities:
Business Development & Solutions Selling
- Responsible for the development, implementation and achievement of sales and profit targets in accordance to the sales plan and AOP target
- To define, analyze and implement distribution and channel strategies and be accountable for the management of the distribution channels
- KA management including key accounts and market visits to drive sales volume and profitability
- Oversee and monitor monthly sales forecast
- To support Marketing team to implement Marketing/Trade Marketing plans and programs to provide product solutions, increase market shares and consumptions
- To establish clear communication channels between sales, marketing, trade marketing, technical associates to maintain clear and constant communication
Governance
- Adhere to corporate monthly sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of propose client base to the management, and contribute towards the annual planning process schedules
- Monitor and evaluate the activities and products of competitors
- Support PLC development and planning process
- Work within corporate policy and guidelines
- Work within budgetary requirements set by the company
People Management
- Review and develop people capability and set performance goals to exploit market opportunities and develop new accounts, distributors and wholesalers
- Recruit & train the right people for the right position in conjunction with HR within specified timeline
- Ensure that people process (PDP, IDP, GLD, etc.) is carried out within specified timeline and up to standard
- Provide on-the-job coaching to the field Sales team
- Training and improving capability of the technical associates to support growth.
