Position Overview

The Mine Planning Engineer Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the planning and scheduling of short term and long term mining activities to optimize resource extraction and ensure efficient operations in a nickel mining project. This role requires a strong understanding of mine design, production forecasting, and adherence to safety and environmental regulations.

Job Description:

Develop and optimize short, medium, and long-term mine plans for efficient nickel extraction.
Monitor and align daily mining operations with production targets and schedules.
Design pit and mine layouts, integrating cost-effective and sustainable mining methods.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
Lead and mentor mine planning teams while preparing reports for senior management.

Location in Sampala Project
