Requirements:

  • Position: Technical Inspector
  • Age Range: 25-40 years old
  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Experience:
    • 25 years as an Inspector or Quality Control professional, specifically within the seafood processing industry or factory/manufacturing environment.
    • Hands-on experience with industry-specific standards and regulatory compliance in food safety and quality assurance.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Knowledge of seafood processing practices and quality assurance protocols.
    • Familiarity with inspection tools, testing methods, and documentation for food safety.
    • Understanding of ISO, HACCP, and GMP standards (preferred).

Responsibilities:

  1. Inspection and Quality Assurance

    • Conduct on-site inspections of seafood processing facilities in Java (Surabaya, Cirebon) and Sumatera (Siantar).
    • Assess product quality by examining raw materials, processing techniques, storage, and final products.
    • Verify compliance with company quality standards and regulatory requirements, including HACCP and GMP practices.
  2. Documentation and Reporting

    • Prepare detailed inspection reports and document findings, highlighting any non-compliance issues and providing corrective recommendations.
    • Maintain records of inspections, test results, and quality standards for audit purposes.
    • Report directly to the Regional Manager, summarizing quality concerns and recommending process improvements.
  3. Process Improvement Support

    • Identify areas for quality improvement and collaborate with facility teams to implement changes.
    • Monitor corrective actions to ensure compliance with established standards.
    • Provide feedback to stakeholders on inspection findings and promote best practices in quality control.
  4. Stakeholder Collaboration

    • Act as a liaison between production teams and the Regional Manager, facilitating clear communication on quality standards.
    • Support training initiatives by providing insights and guidance on quality control measures and standards.
