Cloud Specialist (API Solution)

Job Description :

1. Possess an understanding of full API lifecycle including to design, develop, publish & share APIs internally or externally.
2. Design, develop and transform API orchestrations to support or integrate with business applications for SME, Enterprise and various industry verticals.
3. API design/ modelling using Swagger 2.0.
4. Writing Open API specifications and knowledge of smart docs into API Developer Portal.
5. Responsible for timely documentation of technical design and specifications in accordance with the business specifications.
6. Use the Apigee API Management platform to create and manage API proxies to provide value added features.
7. Troubleshooting and monitoring API proxies running on Apigee using Trace tool.
8. Evaluate the requirements and determine actionable tasks, estimates and provide effort for business solution build and architecture.
9. Perform operational readiness tasks and ensure production acceptance criteria are met.
10. Respond to platform technical issues in a professional and timely manner.
11. Work closely with the sales team for cloud-related sales opportunities.
12. Support Pre-Sales activities, i.e. proposal, systems design, proof-of-concept, demo, workshop conduct, etc.
    

Requirements :

1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
2. 3 5 years of experience in APIs design, development, applications integration and/or API proxies monitoring.
3. Strong logical/analytical troubleshooting.
4. Mandatory strong knowledge for hands-on development experience on Apigee platform.
5. Hands-on technical development to implement APIs and policies.
6. Working experience using web services and APIs built on SOAP or REST and using XML or JSON through the web protocol.
7. Knowledge of existing API Testing Tools (Postman, SoapUI, or any equivalent tools).
8. Experience working on web technologies: Java/Spring Framework, Javascript, NodeJS, Swagger 2.0.
9. Working knowledge on securing data channels using various mechanisms (basic authentication, OAuth 2.0, etc.)
10. Experience in deploying and operating multi/hybrid-cloud platforms, such as Kubernetes, Anthos, etc. is a plus.
