Nurse Manager, RN

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Nurse Manager to join our team! This individual will be working in The Neuroscience Unit which is a 36-Bed Unit and is an essential part of The Joint Commission and the Maryland Institute for Emergency Medical Services certified Primary Stroke Center.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that safe, age-appropriate patient care is provided during hours of unit operation. 
• Functions as role model, advisor, resource, and leader for other members of the patient care team.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse License.
• Current Maryland license or eligibility to obtain Maryland license.
• Basic Life Support and ACLS Certificate. 
• NIHSS Certification within 90 days of hire.
• Education: Masters Degree Preferred; Bachelors in Nursing – required.
• 2 years of direct Neuro Nursing experience. 
• 3 years of experience in Hospital Nurse Management.

Hours:

• Full Time - 40 hours per week
• Monday - Friday
