Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team! As a Radiation Therapist Technician, you will provide prescribed radiation therapy to patients of all age groups.

You will deliver the doses of radiation therapy, position patients, explain the procedure, and answer any questions.

You will work with physicists, dosimetrists, nursing staff and physicians during treatment to ensure the best patient care. You will also coordinate support services like social work and dietary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Age-Appropriate Care: Applies the necessary knowledge and skills to provide care to patients across all age groups (infant, pediatric, adult, and geriatric).
  • Patient Sensitivity and Competence: Demonstrates sensitivity to the physical, emotional, and socio-psychological needs of all patients while delivering care.
  • Radiation Therapy Administration: Delivers prescribed doses of radiation therapy, positions patients, answers questions, and explains procedures as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate degree in Radiation Therapy.
  • License: Ohio Radiologic License required to work in Ohio.
  • Certification: ARRT, CPR.
  • ARRT certified and Ohio licensed; 1+ year experience preferred.
  • Varian TrueBeam, 6-DoF couch.
  • Aria, Eclipse with Radformation.
  • SBRT/SRS and in-house simulation.
  • Varian HDR brachytherapy (preferred).

Hours:

  • Full Time - 40 hours per week
  • Monday - Friday
