We operate a hybrid working model, with a split of days being in the office and days being worked at home. Pepper Money has three offices across the UK and one office in Manila, where this role will be based.
What you will be doing
You will assist with the delivery of annual statutory accounts for the UK Lending group of companies, which will include direct liaison with the external auditor and directors. You will also assist with preparation of regulatory information on a monthly and quarterly basis for submission to the UK Regulator (FCA) and for production of information to support both UK and local tax computations.
In addition, you'll be involved in strategic projects and support with the financial control team during their busy periods.
What we are looking for
- Experience in producing financial statements. Preferably with IFRS experience but not a pre-requisite.
- An Awareness of regulatory reporting or of tax computations would be advantageous but not essential.
- Financial services experience is preferred.
- Qualified/finalist/QBE accountant will be considered providing appropriate experience can be demonstrated
- Strong analytical skills, including complex formulae in Excel.
- Good understanding of data and how to best present complex outputs.
- Able to work under pressure and to deal with multiple tasks efficiently and to tight deadlines.
