We operate a hybrid working model, with a split of three days to be in the Manila office and two days at home.
What you will be doing
- Serve as the Senior Business Support Administrator, providing critical business support to maintain strong internal controls within Commercial.
- Report directly to the Proposition Director and collaborate with senior leaders, including the CCO and Commercial Directors, to achieve strategic objectives.
- Assist the team in ensuring that documented processes are in place, meet required standards, and include appropriate controls to ensure effectiveness, including the testing and monitoring of these processes.
- Prior knowledge or a willingness to learn about maintaining the Internal Controls for the Commercial Team, including Risk and Controls Self-Assessments (RCSA), Monitoring Plans, Record of Processing Activities (RoPA), Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA) and Business Critical Information Assets (BCIA) documents.
- Support Commercial Directors in their management of supplier relationships, in particular coordinating the activities required and providing administrative assistance
- Ensure effective coordination and delivery of tasks to support the organisations goals and strategic priorities.
- Act as point of contact for queries from Risk, Compliance, Information security and DPO
What we are looking for
We are seeking an inquisitive, highly organised and detail orientated individual to play a key part in ensuring our internal controls and supplier processes run smoothly, driving efficiency across the commercial function. This role is suitable to somebody who is proactive, uses initiative, and thrives when taking ownership into their own hands. To succeed in this role, you will pre-empt next steps and take action to get things across the line, using your relationships with stakeholders to do so in a timely manner.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams.
- Experience in managing internal controls, including policies, risk assessments, and due diligence would be an advantage.
- An understanding or interest in learning risk management, ability to document and articulate risks and controls to industry standards.
- Experience working in a similar role within financial services or another regulated industry is preferable
- Familiarity with working alongside a Risk team is a plus.
- Organised: Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively, as well as helping to organise senior leaders others to meet deadlines.
- Proficient in spoken and written English, with strong communication skills.
- Skilled in managing and building strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective collaboration and communication
- Attention to detail: Meticulous in delivering high-quality, accurate work.
- Problem-solving: Ability to think critically and make decisions in time-sensitive situations.
- People skills: Collaborative, with excellent interpersonal and influencing abilities.
- Proactive and solution-oriented, with a keen interest in supporting and improving the Commercial function.

- Experience in a similar role within a financial services firm is preferred but not essential.
