We operate a hybrid working model, with a split of days being in the office and days being worked at home. Pepper Money has three offices across the UK and one office in Manila, where this role will be based.

What you will be doing

As the Risk & Data Analyst you will work with stakeholders across the business to assist in combining their knowledge with advanced techniques from data science, operational research and statistics, to enable higher quality business decisions in a timely manner.

You will report to the Risk & Data Lead Analyst working across many areas of the function including Credit Risk Portfolio Management, Modelling and Analytics, Reporting & Business Intelligence, Risk and Governance.

You will be responsible for:

  • Using and developing MI to monitor credit performance
  • Monitoring the analytical resources and models to ensure proper function and usage, communicating any changes through the relevant channels
  • Delivering and providing ad hoc business intelligence, reporting and data
  • Documenting processes for reports and dashboards created to ensure clarity and proper usage across business
  • Encourage the team to achieve deadlines and follow defined risk governance processes

What we are looking for

Somebody with some proven experience across areas of data analytics including analysis, visualisations and dashboarding, predictive modelling, forecasting and machine learning. It would be advantageous to hold experience using any relevant analytical tools and programming languages such as Python, SQL, or equivalent or software systems (e.g. Microsoft PowerBI, Azure Data Factory).

  • Numerate, logical and strategic thinker with sound commercial judgement
  • Skilled in written, verbal, and visual communication. Able to present clear, well- considered, confident arguments to stakeholders
