Shift pattern: Mid-shift – 4pm MNL to 1am MNL

Working Model: Hybrid, 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

We operate a hybrid working model, with a split of days being in the office and days being worked at home. Pepper Money has three offices across the UK and one office in Manila, where this role will be based.

What you will be doing

As the HR Systems Specialist you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the HR technology that powers our colleague experience. Youll own the performance, development, and optimisation of our HR systems, ensuring they remain efficient, resilient, and user‑friendly for teams across the UK and Manila.

Key areas include:

  • Enhancing and maintaining the HR system suite to improve employee experience and HR efficiency.
  • Managing and supporting mass data uploads (e.g., pay review, bonuses) with strong reconciliation and audit controls.
  • Leading system enhancements and upgrades through structured project methodology.
  • Monitoring system performance, resolving issues, and working closely with suppliers.
  • Managing permissions, data governance, and compliance with UK and Philippines data protection requirements.
  • Providing user support, training, and identifying system improvements proactively.
  • Keeping HR content up‑to‑date across internal platforms including the HR comms hub, and SharePoint.
  • Supporting FOI and Subject Access Requests with HR Policy & Governance and Legal.
  • Ensuring business continuity and supporting broader HR initiatives.

What we are looking for

Youll bring strong HRIS expertise, a problem‑solving mindset, and the confidence to work across multiple jurisdictions in a fast‑paced environment.

Were looking for someone with:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a HR systems specialist role.
  • Working knowledge with using SAP SuccessFactors (essential).
  • Knowledge of HR processes and the full employee lifecycle.
  • Understanding of project management approaches and system implementation.
  • Solid grasp of corporate data protection requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage stakeholders across different regions like UK and Manila.
  • High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
  • Bachelors Degree in HR or Business Administration
