Role Overview
The Learning & Development Officer supports the planning, coordination, and implementation of employee learning and development programs. The role works closely with HR, managers, and business units to identify development needs, coordinate training initiatives, prepare learning materials, monitor program participation and results, and support continuous improvement of L&D programs.
Responsibilities
Learning & Development Programs
Support the identification of employee training needs and skills gaps through coordination with business units.
Assist in developing training plans, learning calendars, and program schedules.
Support the preparation and updating of training modules, presentations, learning materials, and other resources.
Coordinate with subject matter experts and internal stakeholders in developing learning content.
Support the implementation of employee development and learning programs.
Training Coordination & Facilitation
Coordinate training schedules, venues, online platforms, materials, participant lists, and communications.
Work with managers and HR partners on participant nominations and training requirements.
Provide facilitation and administrative support during learning sessions.
Assist in facilitating selected employee programs, such as onboarding and basic workplace or soft-skills programs.
Monitor attendance, participation, and completion of training activities.
L&D Administration & Reporting
Maintain accurate employee training records and documentation.
Update learning activities and participant records in the Learning Management System (LMS).
Track training attendance, completion, assessment results, and other relevant data.
Prepare training reports, summaries, and program documentation.
Assist with monitoring training expenses and budgets.
Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination
Coordinate with external training providers, facilitators, and consultants.
Assist with provider requirements, scheduling, documentation, and service monitoring.
Communicate training requirements and updates to employees, managers, HR partners, and other stakeholders.
Address participant inquiries and provide support throughout the learning process.
Learning Evaluation & Improvement
Administer training evaluations, surveys, and assessments.
Gather participant feedback and identify opportunities to improve learning programs.
Support mandatory and compliance-related training activities.
Assist with Organizational Development, employee engagement, and other HR development initiatives.
Stay updated on learning tools, approaches, and technologies.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
4–6 years of experience in Learning & Development, Training, HR, or a related function.
Experience in corporate training coordination, employee development, facilitation, or instructional support.
Experience working with managers, employees, HR teams, or business units on learning and development initiatives.
Good communication, presentation, coordination, and facilitation skills.
Experience preparing training materials, learning content, or presentations.
Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other learning tools is an advantage.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple programs and activities.
Relevant certifications in training facilitation or instructional design are an advantage.
L&D experience in the real estate or property industry is an advantage.
