Salesforce Developer

Our client, a global automation and technology leader, is seeking a Senior Salesforce Application Developer. Based in Mandaluyong City, Philippines, this role is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining enterprise-grade CRM solutions and customer-facing service applications. Operating across the full Salesforce ecosystem (Apex, Visualforce, Flows, LWC) and integrating deeply with Oracle Database layers, the engineer will optimize complex Case Management, Knowledge Management, client entitlement workflows, and REST API integrations for global business operations.

Key Responsibilities

Salesforce Platform Engineering & Architecture

• Custom Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable Salesforce applications utilizing Apex (classes, triggers, batch jobs), Visualforce, declarative Flows, and SOQL data logic.
• Service Cloud & Knowledge Workflows: Configure and optimize Service Cloud components, including complex Case Management workflows, Knowledge Article taxonomy, client entitlement rules, and self-service portal functionality.
• Modern UI & Components: Develop and maintain Lightning Web Components (LWC) alongside legacy Visualforce pages to modernize user interfaces.

Enterprise Integrations & Database Engineering

• REST API Architecture: Develop and manage secure REST API integrations connecting Salesforce platforms with enterprise backend systems and Oracle Database environments.
• Data & Query Optimization: Write highly optimized SOQL queries and Oracle SQL / PL-SQL procedures to support data migration, cross-platform reporting, and system-to-system data exchange.
• Technical Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical artifacts, including enterprise integration maps, data models, and system configuration runbooks.

SDLC, Quality & Agile Operations

• Full Lifecycle Delivery: Lead solution design, code reviews, unit testing, deployment, and tier-3 production troubleshooting across Salesforce and Oracle DB layers.
• DevOps Pipelines: Participate in Agile delivery ceremonies, utilizing Azure DevOps pipelines for automated CI/CD deployment of Salesforce metadata packages.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with Product Owners, Systems Analysts, and QA leads to translate complex business requirements into resilient technical architectures.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Tenure: Minimum of 8+ years of progressive software development experience, with a primary focus on hands-on Salesforce platform delivery.
• Global Context: Verified experience operating within international, cross-time-zone Agile delivery teams.

Technical & Functional Capabilities

• Salesforce Ecosystem: Advanced mastery of Visualforce, Apex, Flows, SOQL, and Service Cloud modules (Case Management, Entitlements, Knowledge).
• Database & Scripting: Practical working knowledge of Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL, and JavaScript for client-side logic and RESTful integrations.
• DevOps & Delivery: Practical experience with Git version control, sprint-based delivery, and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps).

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• Certifications: Salesforce Platform Developer I or II, or Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant certifications.
• Extended Cloud Modules: Experience with Salesforce CPQ, Experience Cloud (Communities), or Sales Cloud contract modules.
• Integration & Middleware: Familiarity with MuleSoft connectors, Salesforce DX CLI, Data Loader, or Oracle EBS integration patterns.
