Job Summary
The HR Learning and Development Manager is responsible for leading the organization’s training and development function by designing, implementing, and managing strategic learning initiatives that enhance employee performance, leadership capability, and organizational effectiveness. The role ensures continuous learning programs are aligned with business objectives and support the development of a high-performing workforce within a fast-paced technology-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute company-wide learning and development strategies and annual training plans
- Conduct training needs analysis and competency assessments across departments
- Design and implement leadership development, technical skills training, onboarding, and employee development programs
- Oversee the end-to-end training lifecycle including program creation, facilitation, implementation, and evaluation
- Manage learning management systems (LMS), e-learning platforms, and digital learning initiatives
- Partner with department heads and business leaders to identify capability gaps and training priorities
- Track and analyze training effectiveness, employee progress, and learning ROI through reports and metrics
- Lead succession planning and career development initiatives for key talent
- Manage external training vendors, facilitators, and learning consultants
- Supervise and mentor the Learning and Development team to ensure effective training delivery
- Ensure compliance with mandatory learning requirements and company policies
- Promote a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and employee engagement
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Behavioral Science, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Human Resources Learning and Development
- At least 3 years experience in a managerial role handling L&D or training teams
- Must have experience working in a Technology, IT, Telecommunications, Software, or Digital Services company
- Strong background in training management, organizational development, and leadership development
- Experience in instructional design, competency frameworks, and performance development programs
- Knowledgeable in LMS platforms and modern learning methodologies
- Excellent communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and project management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving business environment
