Operations Manager (Travel Operations)

Job Summary

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day travel operations, ensuring smooth execution of bookings, reservations, and ticketing services. The role focuses on operational efficiency, client satisfaction, and strong coordination with airlines and partners, while leading a team and managing high-level client requirements including VIP bookings.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily travel operations including reservations, ticketing, and booking management

Handle complex and VIP travel arrangements including high-priority and executive bookings

Build and maintain strong relationships with airlines and travel partners

Lead and manage operations teams to ensure service excellence and efficiency

Monitor operational performance, service levels, and key metrics

Resolve escalations, operational issues, and client concerns

Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality

Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or related field

Strong experience in travel agency operations, ticketing, and reservations

Knowledge of booking systems such as Amadeus, Sabre, or similar tools

Proven leadership and people management experience

Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills

Experience handling VIP or corporate travel accounts is an advantage
