Job Overview

The Leasing Associate supports the leasing process from lead generation through tenant move-in. The role focuses on identifying and engaging prospective tenants, conducting property viewings, managing follow-ups, assisting with leasing documentation, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure a smooth tenant experience.

Responsibilities:

Leasing & Lead Generation

  • Source and qualify potential tenants through digital platforms, referrals, walk-ins, social media, and other lead channels.
  • Respond to prospect inquiries and provide information on available units, rates, amenities, and leasing requirements.
  • Follow up consistently with prospects and help move qualified leads through the leasing process.
  • Keep prospect records and leasing pipelines updated.
  • Support leasing and occupancy goals.
  • Develop relationships with brokers, referral sources, and potential corporate accounts.

Property Viewing & Client Engagement

  • Arrange and facilitate property tours for prospective tenants.
  • Present units, amenities, facilities, and available leasing options.
  • Assess prospect needs and recommend suitable units.
  • Discuss basic lease conditions, rates, policies, and move-in requirements.
  • Handle initial questions and concerns and refer more complex matters to the appropriate team.

Leasing Documentation

  • Guide prospects through application, screening, KYC, and documentation requirements.
  • Prepare and organize quotations, leasing forms, contracts, and supporting documents.
  • Check that required documents are complete and accurate before move-in endorsement.
  • Maintain organized records of prospects, tenants, and leasing transactions.

Tenant & Move-in Support

  • Coordinate tenant requirements with Property Management, Finance, Maintenance, and other relevant teams.
  • Help ensure units are prepared for scheduled move-ins.
  • Assist with tenant orientation on move-in procedures, property rules, and guidelines.
  • Receive basic tenant concerns and coordinate them with the appropriate team for resolution.
  • Support renewal and tenant retention activities.

Property Marketing & Market Support

  • Assist in creating and posting property listings on relevant platforms.
  • Track inquiries and listing activity and provide feedback on potential lead-generation opportunities.
  • Participate in leasing events, promotions, open houses, and other occupancy activities.
  • Gather basic information on competitor properties, rental rates, and market activity.

Administrative & Reporting

  • Keep leasing trackers, prospect information, and tenant documentation accurate and up to date.
  • Prepare basic reports covering inquiries, viewings, leads, conversions, and occupancy.
  • Complete leasing and administrative tasks within required timelines.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Real Estate Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Around 6 months to 1 year of experience in leasing, real estate, sales, customer service, hospitality, property management, or a similar field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Customer-focused with an interest in sales and client engagement.
  • Comfortable presenting properties and interacting directly with prospective tenants.
  • Basic skills in negotiation, follow-up, and relationship building.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple prospects and tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Exposure to CRM, leasing, or property management systems is an advantage.
  • Willing to work flexible schedules when required.
